Funny Stuff Jimmy Does/Says

I absolutely love my boyfriend to bits. He is gorgeous, has a very chilled out attitude on everything and is absolutely hilarious. He makes me laugh at least once a day and I mean properly laugh, like a belly laugh. He can be embarrassingly immature not to mention inappropriate at times but he is just so bloody loveable!

I am pretty sure this post will turn into part of a series but wanted to get some stuff down before I forgot. Here are just a few Jimmyisms that have occurred during my pregnancy.

1) "What do we bring the baby home in from the hospital? Do they give you a box like when we got the cat from the RSPCA?" No love, they do not give you a cardboard box to put a new baby in.

2) "Hello? Hello? Hello? Claire it's for you!" Loudly using a display breast pump as a phone in Mothercare then handing it to me.

3) Putting the display breast pump on himself saying "I think I'm dry"

4) "Can we train the baby to lift weights?" No Jimmy I don't want a baby that looks like it's on steroids thanks. Besides I am not convinced that not child abuse.

5) "Do you think it's true that babies can hold their own bodyweight and grip onto a washing line? I might have to try it" You bloody well will not!

6) "I don't think you will get stretch marks because you are so pale" Right good to know.

7) "Bloody hell! Look at the size of your tits! They are some riddonkadonnk badonkadonks!"

These are just a few that I can remember, now I'm writing this blog I will keep a sneaky note of them and post next time I've got a load of good ones! What does your other half do to make you smile?

  1. Ha ha! His comment about bringing the baby home from the hospital in a box is funny - but have you seen what they do in Finland? Every new baby is provided with a big box full of supplies, and the box can actually be used as a bed. So, he was kinda right! :-) http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22751415 #brilliantblogposts

    1. My Mum told me about these, it's such a lovely idea that everyone gets the same starting chance. They look really gorgeous too! Don't tell Jimmy though, I'll never hear the end of it! x
