Sudocrem Care & Protect - Review

I absolutely love the original Sudocrem and was intrigued when I saw the advert for Sudocrem care and protect when I was pregnant. My Mum swears by the original Sudocrem and my little brother who is 18 still uses it on his eczema today. I love it and believe 100% that it works miracles on spots, sunburn, insect bites and pretty much any skin condition! 

I had already stocked up on a couple of pots of the original stuff but loved the idea of the clip top tube so grabbed some to pop in my changing bag. Initially I didn't realise that it was a completely different product. The Care & Protect has a much lighter texture and absorbs into the skin really quickly. I must admit I do not use a barrier cream after every nappy change only when Jake has a spot of nappy rash. 

I first realised the brilliance of this product when I used it on Jake's face! In the first couple of days we had been wiping Jake's cheeky chops with muslin cloths and they had made his face red and sore.

I didn't have any original Sudocrem to hand so I used the Care & Protect. It made his dry face look better instantly and I applied it after every feed for the rest of the day. The next day, I could't believe it, his face was 100% better!

In just 24 hours his red, dry and sore face and completely healed! I now use it on dry spots on Jake's head and well, everywhere! I must say Sudocrem Care & Protect is up there with my favourite baby products.
